SEA-FIRE NovecTM 1230 NFG fire extinguishing systems are designed to protect enclosed machinery spaces. All NFG systems operate automatically by heat activation. Discharge occurs when the sensing valve temperature rises into the system activation range indicated on the nameplate attached to each unit. Manual triggering is also possible on units with the "M" designation.

NFG systems are designed to produce a minimum atmospheric concentration of 5.85% within the protected area. Each system is equipped with a factory-installed pressure switch designed to monitor cylinder pressure and can also be used to control other electrical functions (engine shutdown, air exchange devices, i.e. fans and blowers, etc.).

Approved for marine use in sizes from 0.7m³ to 2.8m³ engine compartment volume.
